A bit of science about the brain that relates to the Soul Coaching Collage®

Part of the brain is known as the Reticular Activating System or RAS. Your RAS plays an important role in our ability to set and achieve goals. It acts as a filter between your conscious and subconscious mind. It is the automatic mechanism inside your brain that brings important information up-front and to your attention. To understand this, imagine that you are in a noisy playground or a busy bus terminal. It's noisy and chaotic. No one sound stands out from the rest. But then someone yells your name. This gets your attention above all the other sounds. This person who yelled is like the RAS. It takes specific information, amidst the billions of informational inputs that you receive everyday, from your conscious mind and passes it to your subconscious.
